Variant Trailer Warranty
All Variant trailers come with a factory 24 month warranty including:
- Replacement or – factory’s choice – repair of construction or material defects, in case of errors arising during normal and proper use of the trailer.
- Repairs carried out within the warranty period will not extend the deadline of the warranty.
The Variant 24-month warranty does not include:
- Expenses for ongoing services and maintenance or expenses caused by normal wear and tear or as a result of the trailer not being used for a longer period of time.
- Defects caused by non-proper use of the trailer.
- Defects caused by the use of non-original spare parts.
- Costs of renting a replacement trailer.
- Any damage to the product and/ or any third party caused by improper driving, unbalanced load, unlevel ball and/or coupling height.
Scanvogn Trailer Warranty
Scanvogn offers 12 months’ guarantee from the date of delivery. However, Scanvogn cannot be held liable for damage to goods due to weather conditions, not intended use or handling of the product by costumer or other cause of damage that can be traced back to buyers responsibility.
Upon receipt/collection and before the products are utilised, the buyer/recipient must inspect the delivered products in order to ensure that these are as specified in the order confirmation.
Claims and deficiencies that are or should have been ascertained by such inspection must be submitted immediately and in writing at the latest 8 days after delivery of the product. Scanvogn is no longer liable for claims and deficiencies that are or should have been ascertained by such inspection if the claim is submitted after the above mentioned deadline.
With punctual and entitled claim regarding deficiencies, Scanvogn must carry out the remedying or re-delivery according to Scanvogn’s choice within reasonable time. Remedying takes place at Scanvogn’s factory unless otherwise agreed. All costs associated with transportation to and from the factory is covered by the buyer/recipient.
For remedying of deficiencies in the guarantee period for parts of the deliverable, which are replaced or repaired under the same terms and under the same conditions as for the original deliverable, there is maximum 18 months’ guarantee from the original deliverable’s delivery date.

Extended Warranty
Scanvogn office and crew crib trailers are eligible for an extended warranty of up to 5 years through National Warranty Company.
National Warranty Company (NWC) specialises in the administration of warranties and roadside assistance Australia-wide.
